Wave Chamber Collective — Strings and Science

Monument is happy to host  Wave Chamber Collective for their first gathering of 2023!

The strings quartet will be inviting two scientific thinkers to the stage with them, exploring relational dynamics. They want to refocus the collective lens from romantic dynamics to other kinds of relationships. Join Justine Leichtling as she explores our relationship with ourselves and Patrick Freeman as he shares his groundbreaking research on unexpectedly nurturing relationships between male elephants in the wild. As always, our skilled and empathetic Collective musicians will be choosing pieces to highlight the tone and themes of the evening.
